No New Year resolutions for me. I think they're just a form of cultural procrastination. I evaluate myself regularly (not annually), and take action immediately, not wait until New Year’s to make changes.

Not exactly resolutions, as I agree that those are silly, but here are some things I plan to do this year:
- Improve my French :nervous:
- Finish my degree and find a good PhD position
- Read David Foster Wallace's 'Infinite Jest'
- Learn to play tennis
- Write at least 2 decent short stories
- Take X for the first time |
