speaking of which, whoever's idea it was to all but totally kill the lights in Gallery through Deko-ze's set is a genius. I haven't spent a ton of time in there lately so maybe they've been doing that recently but it was the first time I've seen it and it was amazing, kinda messed with the vibe a little bit, in a good way :D and felt pretty zoney

Iwasthere
I have never seen Guv or RPM this busy. Deadmau5 is the king.
He brings people to the place then any other act.

The only room that wasn't busy was the Orange room, so that's where I went to get my beers.

I agree with the up and down thing but looks like he's getting a hang of it finally..this was the better set out of the past 3 times I've seen him.

I'll check out a few livesets and take it from there. I never write anyone off. Benny Benassi is a prime example. I didn't think there was anyway I'd ever go back to see him again but yet somehow I found myself there instead of at footwork (mostly due to peer pressure).

Personally for me Footwork rocks but doesn't give me that big room experience that I initially fell in love with. I've had some of my best nights at footwork in the last few years but its a totally different vibe.

p.s. Benny sucked.

Yes I am, technically I'm not part of any of the companies, but I work with the big three Asian promo companies for Friday nights & long weekend special events..

waited outside in the cold for 2 hours...didn't end up going in...2nd time this has happened. The last time Deadmau5 was here at Guv got tix in advance but the club was at capacity so couldn't even get in..

Someone told me that ppl were starting to lineup as early as 9:30. Not sure if this is true, but I wouldn't be surprised from what I'm hearing.
