The father of trance?
Do you work for him? |

oh, and who was then the first DJ who played and produced music labeled as trance?
Tiesto? Armin? |

Bruno Sanchioni and Giuseppe Chierchia
And anyways, my point was more about the fact that you're calling him the 'father' of trance, as if it is just him. One of the fathers of trance would be a lot more appropriate ;) |

They made "Age Of Love", which is ONE of the first trance records, but there were tracks in that style before. First Dance 2 Trance release was also in 1990 and because of that project trance became his name.
And Dag was the first DJ that played trance sets. |

Not the formal release of it. The promo was out in mid/late '90, the 12" available in '91. Age of Love was out in early '90. And I'm not arguing that Age of Love is the first trance track and that Dance 2 Trance was second, I'm just saying (as you just said yourself) there were tracks in that style before.
It's hard to say what was the first trance record, it's a lot easier and more accurate to say which were some of the first. Hence it's much more accurate to say he was one of the fathers of trance, as that can be backed up by facts, than to say he is the father of trance, as that is very much up for debate, and probably not true. |

I agree and i know what you mean, but for me he is the father of trance because of his project trance became his name and he was the first who played those tracks which were labeled as trance(beside Sven Väth).
Still better to say so, as most of the new generation who think Tiesto, Ferry, Armin or PvD are fathers of trance :) |
