Can you believe these ridiculous new rules???
No carry on???
Wait till your flight is called before going through security???
Can't get out of your seat for the last hour of a flight????

Q: Do passengers need to do anything differently to prepare for checkpoint security procedures? Has anything changed in terms of what passengers can bring in their carry-on or checked bags?
A: At this time, security checkpoint requirements for passengers departing U.S. airports remain the same. Passengers do not need to do anything differently, but they may notice additional security measures at the airport.

That is for flights departing from the US and not Canada. There are stricter rules now in place for flights leaving from Canadian airports.

I am confused how they state that no carry on bags are allowed but you can bring a laptop. Does this mean you are allowed to bring it in a carry on backpack/laptop bag? I am assuming you can bring a bag for the laptop but nothing else can be in it other than the mentioned allowed items in the guidelines? It doesn't say anything about electronic devices so I am assuming that we can no longer listen to music on flights leaving from Canada? |
