Sponsoring a child

I saw a commercial from childfund.com to sponsor children while watching Man v. Food. All the yummy food mmmm travel channel ftw!
Have any of you ever done this? There are so many sites to sponsor kids i just wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with this cause I would really like to do this. |

| bro theyre only after you're citizenship, after they come over and you and get married, they bolt. trust me. sure they look good in the russian catalogue but dont fool yourself they cant cook worth |

| 50% of that money goes to building a church and teaching them about jesus. 40% is for "administrative fees" aka salaries. what's left over feeds the children. |

"program services for children"
means building churches and teaching them about jesus. maybe you're ok with that, but if it were me, i would donate to a non-religious fund so that all the proceeds go to actual help (food, medicine, clean water, clothing, shelter, usable education) and not "help" as defined as teaching christianity. the primary purpose of christian relief funds is to spread christianity. |
