Why doesn't Sven Vath ever comes/gets booked in LA? (pg. 2)

He's definitely a DJ's DJ. Trust me, he would sell out. I would love to see him at a Deep Dark venue, maybe even the Mayan. A warehouse party would be sick, or maybe even under that bridge on the LA River that's near downtown. You know, the one that comes out on all the gangsta movies. lol
I once played at a warehouse party on South Central LA. The hood was GHETTO, but the vibe was amazing. It was one of the best undergrounds I ever played at. To see Sven at a venue like that would be amazing!
I'm tired of the regular venues. |

| The answer is quite simple. Sven has spent a good deal of time over the past decade creating and perfecting his Cocoon brand, not just in Frankfurt and Ibiza, but through most of Europe and to a lesser extent in Japan. Most of his audience are from the European mainland (a vast majority from Germany), and as such, he spends most of his time in those areas. The same people who attend his parties on the mainland, also go to see him, Ritchie, Villalobos, Luciano etc at Amnesia every summer. Thus the audience stays consistent and doesn't really suggest a need to come to America. |

Very sad. That is one DJ I would love to see, but it sucks that I have to travel half way across thw world to do so. |

It doesn't help that SoCal is still synonymous with cheese trance. :) |

No draw. |
Far from true. There is a reason he never plays in US in general. Have no idea what it is. Ricardo Villalobos won't play in US either. |

yeah... been waiting for some Villalobos. I heard a rumor that he didn't like GW Bush or something like that. |
