okay okay...well you need a cd burnin' app like easy cd creator. it has a vcd option. you gotta convert the asf to a mpeg first so the proggy can read it. just follow the step by step instructions and your set!!
but this is all under easy cd creator...hehe. it really is quite easy...hence the name. lol. umm...do you got it? |

You are a genious! Do you realize that you have solved a problem that i have been trying to figure out for at least a year now? I have searched every message board, asked everyone i knew and nobody could help me. I mean I have many movies that i can't fast forward through or rewind because of windows media player 7. I am totally in your debt. THANK YOU

i have a proggy called SonyCDExtreme...i dont see an option to convert .asf files...guess ill have to d/l that ez cd creator...damn!

Microsoft put a stop to VirtualDub including ASF conversion tools in it's software in May 2000.
The last version to support it was 1.3c -> I'm attempting to get the stupid thing to work on Win2k Pro but it's not working.. I'll try it on a Win98 machine tomorrow and see what I can come up with.
Here's the story regarding the indexing:
Q: During replay, when moving the position slider, seeking within the stream is very slow. What is the problem?
A: A Windows Media server does not transmit the index data of the ASF files.
This index data is required for fast seeking in the stream. You can, however generate a new index for the ASF files after download. Therefore you have to obtain the Windows Media Tools from Microsoft and use the "ASF Indexer" to generate a new index.
Windows Media Player 7.0 even completely refuses to seek in downloaded video streams. The position slider will just pop back to the position where it was before. I suggest you better use Windows Media Player 6.4. |

YYYYYEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!! memories memories, I was able to recognize about everyone who was dancing up front, tried to see myself, but was unable too.. damm it.. I was in front of Oakey, they did show the guys dancing next to me,ggggrrrrr... anyways, I was able to obtain only the 86 % of the video!!!!!!! AAAAAAWWWWWWWW>.. it stopped right in the middle of Solar Stone -- seven cities, when it was coming out of the ambien part, and going back to the build up!!! and missed the other part.. it took me the whole damm night!!! but what can I do.. I'll see if a friend of mine with DSL could D/L it for me.. hopefully :-( well.. I stil have the 86% of the video! hehehehe..

I wish I could resume it, but somehow the download would'nt work with me using the Gozilla, so I was forced to get it through the Explore Download.. can I resume in other way ?!
If there is a way to resume.. would love to know !!!
