Recently I sold a pair of HDJ-1000 that had cracked. Apparently this is a major problem with this model breaking in a hard to repair spot. SOmeone e-mailed me on ebay and told me about "Cyanoacrylate" Glue and that it is the best glue to fix the problem. I wound up selling my headphones anyway, but if anyone else has a pair that had broken, this may fix the problem.

Cheers for sharing the tip. I know I've seen tonnes of people use cable ties to try and keep the headphones in working order.

I have heard of the problems too, but luckily I have never had them break on me and I would consider myself a fairly active dj.
