I"m sure it was a great time but how can it possibly be worth $70 at the door plus whatever is needed to bypass line. Last year i think it set us back $90 a person for a group of 5. That's outrageous considering i can go any weekend and see allot of those dj's for $20. We considered going and if it was 40 or 50 it might have happened.

Almost everywhere is more expensive on new years then it is normally its just how it is.... Plus when you think about how many hours zone is open and what they charge vs how many hours a normal club is open and what they charge its really not THAT bad.

agreed. everything is more pricey on new years - that's just how it is but nyd at zone isn't open any longer than a regular sunday

no no i know that i meant in comparison to a regular (for lack of a better word) club.

For example, some girl I work with went to a club down in club district and paid $35 cover and the place was only open from like 10-3:30. So when you figure out what your paying by the hour at cz its really not bad at all.

Did that make any sense? I need to go to bed....

i was there for 45 minutes :(
i picked up some 24 hour bug in Buffalo and had a pretttty horrible NYD. sucky :(

missed you all
missed the beats
missed the madness
:(

I agree, so maybe double the normal sunday cover would be reasonable?

i dunno - from what i've read/heard, the headliners weren't nearly as good as the locals (nothing unusual here) ... so other than the magical nyd vibe, what else made it worth the huge price??

how many djs were on the lineup?
its not like a normal party .. its not just 4-5 djs for 10 hours.. its 24 hours with a TON of djs, multiple headliners and pure chaos.

70$ is nothing.

Zone NYD ($70):

-Over 20 dj's
-Open for over 20 hours
-Amazing party/vibe/music

There are other New Year parties at halls or clubs that can cost up to $100 and that's not including drinks either... these parties go from about 10pm - 3am.. usually have only a couple dj's who suck balls.. no ins and outs.. do not compare whatsoever to the atmosphere you get at the zone..

To each their own, but I'd rather go to ZONE !!!

Absolutely, I can't believe I only paid 80 dollars for this party. It was my best zone night ever. My only mistake was going back on Sunday. Chalk that one up to, for some reason, not thinking clearly. Happy new year everyone. I'm going to sleep for a week.

So you're telling me the zone is normally open for only 10hrs with 4-5 djs on a regular sunday? Have you ever been on a regular sunday?
