Matt Wooddy, aka Inferno, is the product of growing up in Atlanta in the 90s. Live music has always played a big part in shaping the young lad’s life, as he began playing trumpet in middle and high school. As a contributing member of the Intermediate Jazz Band, he was able to take in as much classic sounds as one could take, before developing an undying passion for creation. Once he had graduated sounds and felt he was proficient in the brass instrument, he started teaching himself acoustic guitar. Rhythm and individuality through music has always been his flavor, therefore when he discovered more minimal sounds, he immediately fell in love. Once dubstep started making its way into music, Matt saw a different sound start to meld with minimalism. He’s helped with major events such as a 3-day festival in south Atlanta, and he’s shared the stage with STS9, Konrad Black, 2562, Dario Zenker, Pier Bucci, Dilo, Pheek and many more. With a full artist lineup under his Heat agency, founded in 2007 by Matt himself, Atlanta is starting to see an emergence of different sounds it is not accustomed.

I know, right! I ended up bringing my mixer because I brought my tables - if I hadn't have had the 42 with all of its different cueing capabilites I would have been miserable.
Manikan plays straight from the laptop and doesn't even use headphones so I can see why he didn't have a problem. lol
I told them next time I play (hopefully soon) I'll just bring a monitor. |
