I found a winner with monster 201 cables for cars. They are intended to shield sound from engine noise and electricity. They grip my mixers RCA connectors like my lab grips a steak with his teeth. No way they are getting loose when I transport my gear. I almost dropped twice as much on some home theatre cables which are not as good. They don't sell these car cables at the store. AnomalyConcept Monoprice? Slightly off-topic: I'm all for beefy RCA connectors except for one application: connecting to the digital in on a M-Audio Microtrack II. That jack is so recessed with so little clearance that most run-of-the-mill cheapie RCAs won't even fit all the way. tamtui I paid 9 bucks for the 2 channel cable. It's an interesting design because it's 1 cable but has 2 connectors on each end. For digital audio I would go with a cable tv coax cable with an RCA adapter from radioshack.
