I want to get a soundcard for my laptop so I can record my mixes if only for the initial purpose of listening back to my mixes and trying to pinpoint where i need to fine tune my technique.
I've looked at a few and wondering what the reccomendation is for the following...
Numark DJ I/O
NI Audio 2 DJ
And wondering would the sounds quality but much more inferior on something like this?
MidiTech Audioface USB
I have a set of cdj200's, vestax mixer and a dell 1501 laptop, again not looking to do much more than record my own mixes for now so any ideas on a good soundcard or will one of the above work fine? |

ok, i wouldnt get the numark, believe i read some people not happy with it, plus its numark ^^ (dont trust my word here, maybe someone has it here and can give a intelligent response on it)
the native instruments audio 2 doesnt seem to have an input, just 2 outputs, so u couldnt even use that i believe.
the one for 25 euro seems rather interesting, pretty darn cheap, try to find some reviews on that.
if youre going to cough up 100, might as well get a ESI maya 44 USB, i have one and the quality is great. I use it for making tracks and recording mixes, which works great for both. |
