Sorry guys, last bump, I promise, but I updated the original post as I decided to re-do this in the end. No major changes except for the very end.
Peace and love:D |

alright, just peeped it.
First tune was alright, very mellow and spacey. like the quick mix out of it, it was going nowhere fast and you brought in the next tune at an appropriate time. much happier with some more elements and vocals (well... more like moaning) playing a role. that bassline is grooving!
it's an interesting set structure so far, you're mixing in directly after the breakdown. so it's like "break.... bang! something new". a little different and thoroughly enjoyable.
"Chris Lattner - Deep As Hell (Pezzner's Sub Floor Dub Mix)" - don't like the beginning to this, very dry. and what was a somewhat melodic set went into a very dry organic sound.
the next was much better, can't go wrong with a John Daly production, love his sound. And it's a little livelier, "flute-ier", a little keyboard in there. yummy.
lost tracks of tunes, but whatever comes in @ 35 minutes is AWESOME. very intriguing and deep. love that sheeet. almost a native american feeling with that flute. female vocals layered over the top - gorgeous breakdown in the middle, which one is this? Citizen 42 - Wake Up? awesome regardless.
very consistent for the next three to four tracks up until in the 56th minute a track hit that's totally up my alley. a drivey bassline and clipped vocals. I WANT IT.
definitely gets a bit more progressive on the end there. but not too much. definitely like vocals @ the end, gui boratto can do no wrong.
mixing was smooth, makes me wonder what the hell was so wrong that you had to go back and fix it. did it clash with the strings from the previous track? |

Hi Denys,
Tune @ 35 minutes is Jay Tripwire - If I Only Knew [Conya]
Tune @ 55 minutes is Analog People in a Digital World - Vega (Ian Pooley Remix)
Thank you for the review, I appreciate the amount of detail you've put in. As for the 4th track, I do agree that it is maybe not as interesting as the other tracks and is somewhat stark in contrast, but I thought it gave the set a nice sound variation early on and ultimately, it helped me set up that Fish Go Deep track pretty nicely. And this track has a sick sub-bass as well, I think it needs to be heard on a good system to be fully appreciated.
I went ahead and re-did this because the last track I had originally used was a different one. It was very nice and initially sounded good in the mix, but listening to it afterward I was quite disappointed.
I'm glad you enjoyed this. Hope to hear that 2nd winter mix soon:) |

| yeah, i regret listening on some cheap headphones @ work. going to give this a second shot in my auto on the way home. should make the basslines/details stand out a bit more. |
