It's Getting Hotter at Circus! (pg. 12)

It used to be able to figure out when a DJ would come through LA or SF based on other gigs, but not so much the last several years.

Whenever I try to do it these days, it turns out happening the way I think maybe 10% of the time. DJs are just willing to fly from cocast-to-coast between the US and Canada on Fri-Sat much more these days it seems. So I've stopped trying.

I have no problem w circus booking ALL trance djs. Emery and menno is a very good start and I hope it doesn't stop there. Very dissapointed by giants non-trance approach as of late.

All praise Circus!!

It seems Giant is not completely giving up on trance. I just saw they are bringing Blank & Jones to Heat on 2/24 (Wednesday). Groovetickets

Oh snap, I'm going for Digweed for sure! Will have to check out Richard Durand again though, he is a master of the decks! :D

fook, just got an email that the date for Digweed has been moved from 3/20 to 2/20, Tritonal at Circus then. Wanted to hear Tritonal, but want to hear Digweed, and already have my ticket for John.

The email said "This event is no longer March 13 as it was advertised". Also, as of this morning no sites had updates. I'm not going to miss Tritonal for sure. Will have to check if I can do both.

WEDNESDAY 03.31.10
FERRY CORSTEN
CREAM
Phoenix
$15

cream is way smaller than circus, so maybe tickets will start at $10 if Ferry is indeed one of the april surpises.

BTW, Andy Moorei s at Cream in Pheonix a week later. I could see Circus getting him before Ferry. (Not saying I don't think Circus could get Ferry, just saying I'd expect it to be easier to get Andy)

You got a different email than me then, here's the one I got:

"Dear Wantickets Customer, We have the following messages regarding: Event Name: Bedrock Records featuring John Digweed Event Date: Mar 20, 2010 This event is no longer March 13 as it was advertised. The event will now take place on February 20. If you cannot attned the new date and wish to recieve a refund minus the service fee please reply to this e mail."

So looks like 2/20 to me unless they fooked up?

Then he's either playing with Sharam & D.Ramirez or Sharam and/or D.Ramirez got cancelled.

John is scheduled 2/18 in Berlin per his MySpace page, so 2/20 in LA would be unlikely but possible...

Wantickets still shows 3/20, so my guess is that Wantickets made a typo...

JOC is playing a giant in phoenix near his circus date, so ferry is a possiblity!!
