Woody Allen

Ok, so i got a bad habit of making new threads when under impression of a movie. This is the third time and I'll try to make it the last time.

I've been watching a lot of Woody Allen movies in a row recently. Started with "Match Point", then a glimpse of "Everyone says I love you" and "Bullets over Broadway" (both meh..), absolutely loved "Vicky Christina Barcelona", then laughed at "Love and death", then "Crimes and misdemeanors", the day before yesterday I watched "Hannah and her sisters" - amazing, and today I finished watching "Annie Hall". I'm so happy to have discovered this AMAZING director/script writer/actor. His movies sort of fill the void of truth and sincerity that most movies lack. I know I'm years late but hey.. I love this guy

I used to really hate Woody Allen, but now I quite enjoy his work. :)

There's a Woody Allen ing and marrying his daughter and Boris being pedo joke in there, I just can't say it.

So, yeah, Woody Allen does rock, especially the old Woody Allen. Even tho I liked Vicky Christina Barcelona it didn't seem Allenish for me.

one of my favourite films ever (and my favourite of woody's) is "Interiors"... not a comedy, but just a brilliant film in every way.. :)

lots better than his more recent, flippant stuff... his old-school comedy is gold: Sleeper owns!

ever since he move out of new york, his movies have been horrible, match point was ok (for a remake) and vicky barcelona is by far his worst movie, absolute crap.
whatever works is a good movie.
my top woody allen films:
hannah and her sister (perfect in every sence)
sweet and lowdown
crimes and misdemeanors (one of the best endings)
bullets over broadway
anything else
purple rose of cairo
annie hall
manhattan murder mistery
interiors (super super tense)
radio days
love and death

Bananas and Sleeper (is the better one, but both are funny)
