Upper right corner of the video from :30-:45....that girl naked?
SPAWNmaster
the girl is topless...pretty common at a lot of shows it seems these days.

anyways the device is a midi controller, the xsession as mentioned before.

Crowd looks really bored

And why are the lights on? :wtf:

Yeah, I don't get how he's "smashing the place to pieces". I see a bunch of cellphone and camera wankers, "enjoying" the experience through a 2.5" screen, with the majority of the remainder of the crowd doing the left-right-hands-in-the-air shuffle, while Mr. Hawtin gearsturbates all over them.

MOAR BUTTONS = MOAR MNML!@

I don't think that girl is naked. In the first few seconds of the video it looks like she has a greenish top that sits real low.

he obviously use more gear than his mind can have control over, sounds like a mess. lol he had to start the clapping himself. this was embarrassing.

its a simple version of the UC33e which is a pretty good midicontroller.

You all sound extremely bitter.

Show me any gig these days where there aren't a bunch of 2.5" lcd screens all over the shop trying to record every minute of the gig instead of appreciating it.

Never said I liked what he was playing either. I saw him at SW4 and thought his set was an absolute mess. As Palm said I think he's just trying to do too much these days. Surprised he's not using a mixer with more channels.

anyway, I still stand by the place going off every now and again. Regardless of whether it's a bunch of people punching the air or taking their pants off.

Hawtin seems to drop a tune, place goes nuts then a slew of random beats are played where the crowd gets slightly bored then another drop and off they go again.

Personally I'd much prefer the way Dubfire uses traktor's four decks.
