is it true that this track isnt finished yet and was actually stolen from you? by IDC ?

at least he is providing music for the scene, music for us to listen to if you dont liek the music then listen to something else, Airbase doesnt force you ti listen to it!
If you do like his so called "attitude" the WOW, big deal! read another thread! like his attitude is really matters to these forums! pfffft! the music matters!

Actually, I think you need to lighten up. It's his song and no offense to Swamper, but he had no right to be putting up his song. Airbase was only angry because his hardwork was being put up for download for free. Sure, he over-reacted a bit but a lot of other musicians would too.

yeah..but when you're not a superstar artist, i think I would be happy, to have my music on a very popular website to download. but thats just my opinion. And he could have just pmed swamper, and politly asked him to remove it. |

| Ehhh, the synths he used ruined it :\. I downloaded the World In My Eyes remake, it's pretty good, but where the hell did the vocals go? It doesn't really have any similarity to the original. |

IMO thats ridiculous!
i believe that having the track on the website when it isnt complete would annoy the artist even if they are beggining or very famous, it could give the listeners the wrong impression. for instance all these people sayign the remake is boring yada yada! well maybe when the track is complete it may be totally different!
i dunno just my opinion
(im not deffending airbase , i dont even know him. i just like to respect artists as a whole for what they do no matter if the work is good or bad i thank them all for the effort) |

Technically, it's a very well produced track, everything's in order, sounds powerful and uplifting, but the instrument Airbase chose for the melody could use some improvement. I agree with some of the comments that were previously said.
The song just isn't the same without that guitar melody, the strings sound a bit cheesy in comparison. The vocals don't seem appropriate in the remake as well, where as the original is more chilled down.
As far as DJ Stigma - The Answer (The Scarab Mix) is concerned, another well produced track but it just lacks something. The vocals imo do not flow well with the instrumental. I would very much like to see a dub of this.
The bottom line?
Great work Airbase. |
