Nick's track selection was amazing last night, best I've heard from him!

Dammit! Knew it was going to be good, but didn't make it (all of 10 blocks from my house to avln) due to the mixing and messyness before hand.

Darin, you don't happen to know if the set was recorded do you?
darin epsilon
No idea if it was recorded, to be honest. He was using Ableton on his laptop so it's definitely possible.

I felt it was too trancey for that late (started at 3:30) and needed a stronger beat. I liked Glaude's set; he mixed in some old italo disco; although he stoped the music a lot for the crowd to cheer and this is not your Vanguard crowd :)

Unfortunately!

Avalon's crowd is the main thing that keeps me away. It's often like spending a night at a laundrette and I just can't understand why Avalon Management still allow it. Ruins it for people who actually care about music and clubs.

Clubs are about making money and the people you (and me as well tbh) loathe that go to avalon pay the bills.

omg what italo disco tracks did he play?? i saw him twice in 2 weeks and didnt hear any of that!
MelBeat
They must all be from recent releases. David Guetta's "The world is mine" for sure and I don't know who sampled "happy song".

The DJ Dan/Donald Glaude fans thought Nick was playing too soft, and the Nick Warren fans thought DJ Dan/Donald Glaude were playing too hard.

Donald Glaude & Nick Warren, that's a little like a Caesar salad with motor oil on the side...
