I can't listen to the demo right now, but I will do ASAP.
On a side note - is anybody running Windows 32bit having problems downloading the new OS? |

Hrmm. Maybe I'll get the full TI keys, then. The polar is just so shmexy. :D |
I've heard another rumour that there's a gloss black 61 arriving this year..........

Yeah, that's why I hated the Novation AutoMap - it was just too much (and rarely worked correctly IME). The Virus Remotes can be as simple as you want them - I primarily just assign the most common parameters (e.g., filter, envelope, and LFO controls, performance/expression controls). |
Me too, I bought a remote SL compact just before Christmas and it was an appaling lash up of lego and bad code.
Shocking that they dared to release it tbh. |

I assume you're referring to OS3.3.4? I downloaded it a few weeks ago with no problem.

Yeah it is - maybe Access will surprise us at NAMM and release a "Whiteout" version of the 61-key TI2, like they did with the desktop. |
that would be cool |

What's a formant filter? | Well as far as I know formants are the spectral peaks associated with vowel sounds produced by human vocal cords. So I'm not 100% sure but my guess is formant filters screw with frequencies associated with these sounds :tongue2
My reason for guessing this is the patch that starts at 3:09 in the demo , sounds like it's talking :D
Whatever these features are they sound bloody usable! |

Yeah, I think that's pretty much spot on. From my limited technical understanding, a formant filter is a series of band-pass filters with a fixed resonance that can be modulated to create vowel-like sounds (but, that also may not be 100% technically accurate). |
