Alright, I have marked John Bowen Synth Design on my list...
I am also toying with the idea of video reviews while I'm there. Mind you it would be with my ty point-and-click Nikon, and my not-as-ty M-Audio Microtrack...But if they'll let me plug into their kit, that will help. |

| Yeah, but I doubt whether it'll actually make it to production. and even if it did, the price would be obscene, and TBH it just doesn't look that much better than your average virus or other synth with a mod matrix. Modular synths are overrated IMO. |

It did make it to production - it was announced over a year ago IIRC and the list price was around $3500. I thought I read somewhere that he only produced like 25 units in the first release, not sure how many since. |

But who has 3500 to spend on one synth? Honestly, nothing could sound that good IMO.
Also, as far as I can see, it appears to be just more VA, I thought it was analogue for some reason. In which case, isn't it similar to arturia's origin? I'd rather go the origin since it seems a bit more full featured. |

| The Andromeda sells for that much and hell, I'd pay that. In fact I probably will soon. Virus TI retails for more than that too. |
