Going through my old rave / club flyers

Had to do it. I have a bunch that are set aside and well kept. Then I have a huge box that I just threw flyers in over the years. Stuff from all over, local parties I played at, ones from trips I'd take & just grab some wherever I saw them, drum & bass parties from my study abroad in London, and probably the most from Montreal (where I logged most of my club hours).
I'm tossing a bunch that I'm not attached to, but keeping and organizing the good ones. I gotta say it's one hell of a trip down memory lane. |

| I have a big box in the basement with flyers and posters, only part of it though... lost the best (some signed) in a fire at my old place:( |

I LOVE flyers/posters. I actually have the better ones in my safe with the deeds to my house - that is how they are meaningful to me. I agree, brings back lots of memories - some solid and some fuzzy. From my 1st party in 94, to Ibiza, to wmc, to Industry (the real one in T.O.), Atomic, Sona, WEMFs, Radar 1, Arrival, Creams. Latest acquisition was a Calderone @ Pacha poster I saw at NYC in Aug - I have to remember that triumphant morning with something ;)
I also keep all my old mixmags, dj mags, Streetsounds from way back.... |

nice! I still have some flyers from these nights/events as well, sweet memories indeed.
Nothing in Ottawa since Atomic ever came close, in my opinion. |
