lol, it sucks being a younger NYTA. especially when i first signed up under another name. my first event was armin @ mccarren pool in 07 lol... being 17 was the worst. 18 was pretty bad too especially since when i turned 18, everything went 19 or 21+. and then i turned 19 and for a while everything was 21+

Yea it sucks to be young now. I remember the days of sneaking into clubs at the age of 15 because no one really checked. A little make up and some heels and voila you look older. Even when they did check they would just ask you what year you were born to try to stump you lol

i hear ya. when I was 18, there were a fair number of 18+, and 19+ events were okay 'cause then I could borrow IDs from friends who looked similar & didn't go out. but when I turned 19, almost everything went 21+ again, and the friends I used to borrow from are still 20, so damn. haha.
also: all the free before midnight lists are 21+, so we lose out on that, regardless. yeah, there are a bunch of kids who'll pile in when events are 18+ and make people bitch about parties "looking like high school dances" but come on, you know that's not true about all of us. :) |

hahaha yea... eddie always used to have to sneak in to all events... but he was soooo lucky when it came to sneaking in... even snuck into VIP at pacha when markus was here like two years ago when he wasnt even supposed to be allowed into the club lolol.... but when he turned 18 all the clubs started making their policy 19+.... but after he turned 19... all his friends were 21 and we all always leave him home alone to go to 21+ places lolol... |
