not my style, way too proggy, and i mean considerably.

Yeah, it's not a bad tracklist, a few of the tracks are a bit dated now though.

The Trendroid mix of Revolution is pure class and one to get the dancefloor going (erm, assuming that this mix was ever played in a club) but the Satoshi mix of Papau New Guinea is probably better suited towards the end of the set (that breakdown with the synths is pure bliss :) ).

Apart from that, yeah it's reasonable.

PS: Psi, judging from your avatar/custom status you've developed quite a liking for Aphex Twin...... please bring back the picture with him in a bikini, that was bloody hilarious. :D

You probably should have mentioned beforehand that it was a prog mix, could have spared yourself the inevitable attention of the UPLIFTING TRANCE ADDICTS (note tone of annoyance) who will burn you at the stake unless your bpm is around 145.

Anyway, looks like a solid collection of tunes...Personally I like my progressive to be mixed up a little with some breaks or housier tunes. I know the hybrid rmx is in there, but everytime I hear it, it sounds very 4-4ish to me.

Satoshi mixes are good, the FSOL rmx is a classic nowadays, it's been hammered so much already.

You mix this with vinyl...or what?

as for the guys who actually said somethin...even if its 'boring'...thankx...atleast u looked over it...

btw...the reason Sandstorm is in there is cuz the Superchumbo Rmx got a proggy tribalish feel...fits nicely after Computer Beats...

besides...those of u bashin...prob tranceaddicts...this mix would be more for the dark, deep, progressive fans...i wouldve deleted this thread all 2gether...but i could care less...keep bashin...

thankx to those of u who said...borin...even the take out sandstorm posts...atleast u passed up my 'DJ name'...

i aint pissed...its all good...

Keep the sandstorm mix in there...I like that particular mx; in fact I listen to it alot. And from what I've observed on this website, most of the members seem to prefer the uplifting trance tunes. I prefer the hard trance or progressive dark/tribal (like Satoshi Tomiie).

I deeply fear progressive... & minimal trance too. Although I've heard more minimal than progressive, I've never heard anything I liked in either. :D

I like some progressive, but a lot of it really bugs me because after a while it all sounds the same. For ex., when I first listened to "Interpretations II" mixed by Jerry Bonham, I had to stop the Cd player because everything sounded the same. Do you like "Love in traffic?" I believe that is considered progressive.

Nice tracklist... forget everyone who bashed, they don't thave the appreciation for this type of electronica... just disliking the list beacause its not their "style" i think u picked good songs that fit eachother quite well... one thing i dont understand is, why did u post this list? is it cuz u wanna record this to a cd? if u do, please use turntables or AT LEAST a dual cd player to mix it.. not no softwear..=) oh and your dj name...well i dont think it matches the style u play.. it sounds more like a hard-trance dj.. but who cares about names anyway??

peace, tek
