i wish i had a more efficient gallery setup like Jason.. but, another website is in the works first and when i get to revamping this site, i'll make the changes. any feedback/criticism on the photos would be greatly appreciated!

wow, great eyes =) i usually have the flash exposure compensation set at -1 for this camera/lens combo, this night i left it on -1/3 somehow. and i shot the entire set at iso800 with flash, iso1000-1600 without flash on a 40D when i should've capped it at 800 without flash.
like i was saying to you at the club.. i've been bringing it out for the holiday/special events lately so i'm pretty used to my 5Dmk2 now haha, got kinda spoiled with the high iso capabilities of that that when i was doing crowd shots i didn't realize it'd be this grainy til after i got home.

having worked literally hundreds of diff events from corporate to clubs, i actually think it's pretty easy to read a person's body language on whether they want to be photographed.. if you see a photographer walking towards you and you turn away, chances are you s/he won't bother to ask you for a photo.. unless you rudely grab me while i'm talking with someone, i'll always take a photo of you if ask for a photo.
that said, most of the photos end up being of univ-crowd girls because i see their eyes light up from a mile away as they start fixing their hair/dress.. when that's the case, it's a lot easier for me to feel like i'm not intruding on someone's party, and i'll always smile nicely as i approach & ask if they'd like a photo.
i hope everyone who posts here who comes out on Sat's eventually gets to know me - jus get my attention if you want a photo! |
