There's a particular sound that's been used all over the place that I wanted to use in a track and I've not got close to it with any preset tweaking so far.
It's the chord stabs that start around 1.51 :-

Sylenth seems the obvious start, but I can't get close to it. Not that I have any clue about sound design mind you. |

He uses that in quite a few of his tunes and TBH , anything released on vandit seems to have the same stab , including some of PvD's tunes.
Synth wise its pretty impossible to tell , but im guessing its a virus sound. |

Then I turned the resonance up a bit and there we have it.
The simple sounds always work best.

| sound might be famous but it isn't simon patterson that made it so. And yes, that sound can be made on the sylenth and almost every modern soft synth on the market. |

Sounds like Massive to me.
Some saw/square with unison , very little detune and no retrigger. |
