old skool kung fu movies

anyone else like them?.. i dont mean ones that are 10 years old.. im talking really old skool ones from the 70's and early 80's like early early jackie chan stuff i.e drunken master,my luky stars, wheels on meals, legend of drunken master. and others like wu-tang vs ninja, 36 chambers.

proper martial arts movies that show actual skill, rather than showing what is the most ed up crazy looking move you can possibly achieve using CGI and wires.

im predominantly a horror movies buff [80's style too] but every once in a while i go through my kung fu phase, and im now after some decent oldies. the more bizarre the better. i watched 'master of flying guillotine' which wasnt amazing, but not bad, some good ideas like the yoga master with extendable arms [a la dhalsim]

this scene taken from legend of drunken master.. which is arguablyone of the best fight scenes ever in a movie

anyone know any other movies like this?
Jackson
Once upon a time in China
The Big Boss

Theres quite a few out there, I can't think of any right now.

Look for as you already said Old School Jackie Chan, but also Donnie Yen, Jet Lee and Stephen Chow as well for more of a comedy like film.

ahh im not a fan of jet lee at all.. same with bruce lee. id much rather just watch movies with nobodies in it as long as the fight scenes are skillful, and the story line is far fetched and supernatural-like.
once upon a time in china, ive not seen.. might give that a watch

Lol, you cannot deny that films like Drunken Master is one of the original Kung Fu movies...however if you are thinking of films like "The Tuxedo" then yeah...I agree

ah come on man.. i know your a movie man.. but that is just bull. granted his newer movies since 'rumble in the bronx' are not hardcore kung fu. but his older ones are. and i dont just mean the action movies he did with golden harvest like 'police story'.. i mean the real kung fu movies like 'snake in the eagles shadow' etc
