post your first track and your last track

FIRST

First track after about 6 months of messing with synths. Used cubase vst 5 and external effects. I was trying to do hardtrance but it sounds pretty lame and hard house. Did it in 2000. I remember going to rave and loving the music and decided to make that music. I had no idea what a dj did and assume that trance was made like normal music so I took out a loan and bought 20 000 in equipment.

Last

This was done in 2003 or 4 i think. Trying to do a mix of hardtrance and house. I think this was my 10th track and then I started studying classical music pretty seriously.

Would love to hear some other stories. I know there are some awesome producers on here and it would be really neat to hear their first track and their latest.

Gouryella - Tenshi (Bshido's Not So Hot Remix)

My first (serious track) was this little number here, it's really kinda bland even after the mid way point. Pretty much that one melody running throughout the whole 8:40 lol. Made around 2003-04, not sure anymore. The two things that did stick from this track though was the kick and the sub bass. Everything else was meh.

NsH - It's In the Stars

Is my latest track to be completed, but it was during the summer so it's been awhile. But difference from Tenshi, lots of effects, cut up vocals, not as long stuff like that. But yea, one could say I learned a thing or two from the last 6-7 years heh

My first real track that was slightly any good was this

http://soundcloud.com/ultrastellar/elementia

Produced it around the beggining of 2008.And I pretty much was only getting into things when i made this after I made some pretty awfull stuff lol

My latest should be the entry for the TA album , but its nearly finished and I got side tracked into working with vocals as I have never done so.
So my latest track is a 'very' rough sketch of 4 strings -Take me away.

Lost all of them because of how much Cubase sucked.

First link doesn't work for me,

cool idea this thread, it would be good if people (anyone who can remember) could put dates so people can see how long from first to last, and then we can see changes over time.

cool :tongue2

I'll look some stuff up. Not sure I can find anything I did over 10 years old even though there's a lot I did back then.

Oldest I could find ~1997 or so:

Made with Scream Tracker 3, mostly old 8 bit samples and stuff :D

Last track I finished (somewhere 2009), made with Renoise, would be the second on my soundcloud:

2003, this was the first track i made using a computer to produce music, back when i was going on a course learning to use Cubase SX.
The melody in this one is actually not too bad, totally inspired by Gouryella and Fire & Ice lol. :)

2010, cannot post a sample longer than these 15 seconds, but this is the very last track im working on.
