Now that I've slept it off for a bit i can add a little more to my one line review from yesterday.
Showed up to a large line outside which was bitter sweet. Haven't seen that sorta excitement at TIL in a longtime though i rarely go. Waiting in that line was a little less fun. Got in to Joe Manzone playing a solid opener set. Really set the tone well and I totally preferred what he played to Fab's segment.
I was expecting mayhem from C&C and I got it. Tonnes of amazing tracks that had a real unique quality to the way they were delivered. I find they have really got that signature sound down pat. The sound was great and while it was extremely busy for about an hour and a half, the vibe made up for it.
Definately need to seem them in the Guvernment main room for an extended 12am - 7am type set. It just felt that 4 hours was not enough and I could have easily gone another 2 or 3. They also seemed to tone it down a bit at the end as the crowd thinned out. We ended up leaving around 4:30.
Track of the night had to be Jose Nunez - Bilingual. Was that a new remix? Just simply brilliant.
Thank you...come again please :)

Heard better from these two before....and I have to admit I would kill to see them both at STEREO again aaaaaaahh!!!!!!!!!so I have to say that I didn't enjoy the music much at London. I did have a blast with some wicked friends though :) Good night still!

My expectations for this party were nowhere near what I got served in the end. This was my first visit to This Is London since Fanciulli played last May, and even then, I hadn't seen the place as packed as it was on Friday in ages. TAs really don't make up a huge portion of the pie when it comes to filling a club, but I still wasn't expecting it to be that crowded! Tried to escape and enjoy the music from upstairs, but the sound doesn't exactly bubble it's way up there enough. Nonetheless, I dealt really well and managed to have a phenomenal time. :)
Fairly enjoyed Manzone & Strong's opening set; they got me bumping and excited early on in the night. They might not have set the right tone for Chus & Ceballos, but they definitely set the right mood and got the crowd going. Heard some pretty impressive tracks too.
As for C & C... there was a lot of hype when they first took the stage, and they started off really well.. but then they lost me for a bit when they started to play funky, diva house. The dance floor had been elbow-smashingly full at this time, so it enabled us to back off for a while and find a good spot for chats about rusty spoons and grubby taps. ;) I could of sworn they were playing what they did to get rid of some of the crowd. I'd like to believe that analogy.. but it was after last call, 2 am, that got people to leave. Now for those who left early on.. you are foolish to have missed on what happened next. The next two hours or so were prime rib!!! Chus and Ceballos flipped the club upside down and gave all the tribes people a wake up call. Tribal... tribal... tribal... So many awesome tracks were destroying me. The chants came out.. animals came out of the shadows.. the drums were pounding. It was nothing less than amazing.. and then FUMASA.. and wait.. it finally hit me.. the statue in TIL is the Fumasa God!! It all made sense! Coming to that realization and then hearing the epic
Spencer Parker - The begining (Michel Cleis Remix)
was an epiphany! Wow! :D One of my favourite moments of the night... and it didn't end there. C&C laughed at us, because they knew we had no idea what they had in store for us. My jaw dropped a few times.. they played Work This and Lorraine came out of me for a bit, lol. Heard this really funny tribal track that sounds like pink panther sneaking up in an alleyway in a jungle. The track was called
Vincent Thomas - Heureka
The group of us had fun sneaking around the dance floor to this, haha. Just before 4 am, and after, they started dropping some dark Stereo/Sonic stuff. I got chills.. heard tune of the night that I need an ID on. It was a deep dark tribal track with haunting female vocals. It could be a classic track, but I don't think I've heard it before. They kept going after 4:30, but I had to leave to go straight to work for 5:30 am. I don't know how I'm able to accomplish such things, but this dinosaur made it out alive...
In the end, C&C played the best set I've ever heard at TIL since Lawler NYD 2007... and that's saying a lot. Still smiling about it today!

I have to say C&C are pretty good i mean they had the whole club jamming pretty much all night well at least until 3 am .... i saw ceballos at mod club i think 2 years ago... SUPER DISAPPOINTED... but i think as a duo they compete with each other so the music is much better.... and as so TIL i haven't seen it that packed in a while thanks to my new friend HARVEY we got in no problem.... And there were these 2 chicks walking around in T shirts that said GO yourself...LOL i loved it!!!! it definitely got my attention... OVER ALL pretty good night... I enjoy the Venue more than anything else... most of the crowd was mediocre and everyone else was probably too ed to give a ...
