Hey there TA.
So... I guess you reading's first thought is: "Who is EMT?"
Well I don't even know me. But I know this set made me fall in love with Trance.
2nd: "Why have you "recreated" a tiesto set that's 6 years old?"
Because, the only versions that are out there on the www are poor quality, have some gaps in tracks, and have radio/MC announcements and a cheering crowed... all in all, whilst it has got a 'live' vibe, it does take away from the actual music... which is what I want to enjoy.
This set is recreated with the exact same tracks, mixed in at the exact same times and ways that Tiesto did in the original liveset; just with all of the above removed or improved.
3rd question (For some): "Why have you bothered with Tiesto? He's *flame*".
Yes I hate what commercialisation does to DJs as much as anyone else... but this was 2003. Even if you think he's a douche now, he was a pioneer then... At the very least, Enjoy the set as if some random (Me) has made it, not him.
As final enquires by me:
I want to stress that. I'm not "promoting" myself per se as this subsection suggests. I'm not even trying to promote Tiesto... I'm simply sharing the 170 Minutes of Joy that everyone is missing out on... and if some of you do have this set... well I'm sharing it, as I said, with better quality and without the things that the recorder had added in :).
Also: Whilst I do consider my self a perfectionist (not in a "I am awesome and make things perfect" sense but that "I try to as best I can and pay fine attention to detail"), and this isn't at all the first set I've made, or even recreated... I still feel like, Its in Beta stages... in the sense that, as a developer, I've made it and gone past the alpha stages of testing, but that I'd accept and encourage constructive criticism from the public as much as I would 'thank you's ;).
As a final note, I've compressed it as a winRAR file. (only saved 12 mb of space but I needed to fit in track list as well ;P)... So, if you don't have winRar but would like to acquire the set anyway, PM me :)

I wondered which live set you'd re-done.
Be interesting to see how you compare to the Tiestorz, mixing wise. Possibly quite well :p

Call me a douche for bumping my own thread, and for having not posted in this forum for the year since I created this thread, but I still listen to this set daily, and still want to share it :D. The link still works btw.
