Leo Azevedo's high-energy uplifting house and progressive sets have kept clubs in Hollywood jumping for the last 4 years. He's held down a 2 year residency at posh club Shag on Saturday nights, and toured plethora electronic dance clubs in SoCal including Avalon, Circus, et al. Most recently one of his sets aired on Shakedown Podcast reaching over 40,000 worldwide, 200 of which received a free CD personally mailed from Leo himself. Cause that's the kind of DJ he is: one who cares, one who loves, the music and the crowd. And born out of that love for electronic music, and his passion for the city he lives in, comes the "I Love LA" party. Because we're on a dancing planet...!!!
And as his first guest in the "I LOVE LA" series is none other than Los Angeles EDM-staple Freddy Be. Freddy has been delivering great music and first-rate events to Angelenos for more than Fifteen Years now! From the weekly Monday Night Social - with partner Mick Cole as the BUD brothers, to the awe-inspiring annual Earthdance gatherings, Freddy’s tireless efforts have been instrumental in defining the progress of Southern California’s dance culture.
He began his DJ career in ’94, spinning at full moon gatherings in California’s Mojave Desert, and made his mark on the scene through a series of successful residencies, special events and international dj appearances.
2006 saw the release of Freddy’s much anticipated studio collaboration with production partner Trent Cantrelle. Their debut single "You don’t have to cry" received massive praise and plays at WMC’06 from the likes of Sander Kleinenberg, John Digweed, Sasha, Quivver, Danny Howells, Jody Wisternoff, Steve Porter, Meat Katie, Richard Vission, Seb Fontain and many others; and was featured on mix compilations from the likes of John Graham (Quivver) and Mark Lewis!
