Yo, this is Joe from Subsequent Mastering, I was just wondering if any of you had a moment spare to fill in an online questionaire for me? I am looking to expand the studios capabilities, so it's basically just a bit of market research so I can spend my gear money wisely!

I think you might be barking up the wrong tree with the survey. The people who believe that analog automatically means better probably aren't the ones that would ever pay for mastering.

I'd probably invest a bit of money on a slicker website with streamable audio demos (maybe you have them already, I didin't see them though) and blue text on a black background is almost epilepsy inducing! ;)

I genuinly wish you luck though :)

what K system do you have your setup calibrated to ?

How do you get near your mouse when your sweet spot is 4 foot from your desk?

How do you master with speakers that are prosumer at best (and turd in my personal opinion), not to mention the fact that large proportion of people on here have better monitors.

This is especially important when you are providing in the box mastering, as the only bit of good external kit HAS to be your speakers (and audio interface obviously).

+1. Possibly one of the most important things in a mastering environment.
