Just realised it's July, which means I've been on TA for over a year now. Has gone fast and a lot has changed. A year ago I didn't really know a lot about trance other than the cheesy crap that was played at The Opera House (Slinky venue) on Saturdays. None of my mates were into clubbing so it was rare I got out to a good night, usual weekend routine was Saturday night pub crawl, drinking until I collapsed (admittedly not long) and somehow finding my way home only to throw up on the front room carpet and pass out on the sofa. I used to promise myself that one day I would go to places like Gatecrasher, even if it meant going on my own :)
So anyways fast forward a year and I've completly relocated ha;f way up the country to Chesterfield (about 30 mins from Gatecrasher) and have met 4 of the best mates I've ever had, plus about a hundred more through TA and Gatecrasher. All of which would never have happened if it wasn't for a) tranceaddict.com and b) (in alphabetical order) goldenarmZ, rainbowbrite, tu_face & volksjoolz being so ing sound and wanting to meet up with somebody they hardly knew at Gatecrasher NEC last October.
So this is just to say cheers to swamper for running the site, coz it means a lot more than just somewhere to discuss music to a lot of people; and also to the four mentioned above, just for being who they are. *wipes a tear*
Am looking forward to the next 12 months. Hoepfully at least one of us will be famous by then and we can all get in places for free :D |

Yeah i have been here over a year. And made a lot of mates out of this place.
And in a few weeks time will b comming up to buy a car off one of the nutters named above, hmmmmmmm.

It only gotten better & better I have to say!
I met some great peeps as well, but also some BIGtime heads :D

yeh i feel the same mate, weve all had some great times at crasher etc coz of knowing each other thru TA! :) i been here 9 months so far :p |

Nice 1, yeah I been on here for 15 months.
Yeah also I've made a load of mates through TA, especially my fellow UKTAs the meetups are wicked, roll on the 27th GKGG we're all back then. |

Anyway,i've been here only for some months but it has been great!
I have to admmit though,i feel that the spirit begins to fade away a bit,let's summon the eldest powers back!
lol,i just hope that TA will last to eternity and we will continue to broaden our horizons together...
