Hey all,

This one appeared a while ago on my page, but I haven't posted it yet. So if anyone wants to hear it,just check here :

Lagoona - Always In My Heart [Lightworks Rmx]

It's a somewhat more mellow trance track than usual, but keeps its attention I think. Lagoona liked it alot already, I hope you do too ;)

Take care,
Wim/LW

registering and such bleh. :-p can you just post the mp3 here to the forum?
Lightworks
that registering is no big deal on mp3.com unlike on javamusic or soundclick etc. just fill in any emailadress or other rubbish and you'll be in, no big deal ;)

Well,

you produce too fast....oughta say max 1 track per second week or something ;)

Well, starts out a bit boring imho.
Cause the of the kickdrum and the bass, the big sound is way too dry.
But gotta love the percussion, thats a big plus.

Nice melody and lead.
Mood is quite good too.

but honest, i find this track quite boring, even for a chill track.

Nothing exciting, also your sound is too much alike nowadays imho, try and experiment more.

Not too harsh i hope wim ? ;)

Cheers mate,

hey wim! sorry i didn`t reply, i guess i didn`t see the thread (headache? ;) )

i like the percussion u used in the whole track, sounds very cool :D
also very cool fx sounds :D
and i really like the cool "strange" synth.. very nice done!
the piano sounds cool also, and those strings... mmm yummie :D (gotta tell me how they`re done ;))

the main synth is very cool also!

well what else can i say, this is just perfect and it sounds very proffesional, u really gotta send some new stuff of urs 2 labels man!

this really proves that fruityloops CAN make proffesional music!!

keep up the good work, and cya on msn soon (hopefully)

grtz,

Mac :
don't worry, tastes differ :) i don't mind if you didn't like it, it's your taste and opinion that counts. the track's not really about all-epic and uplifting stuff, but some more 'regular' trance. quite standard, but then again there's alot of that out there, so on the originality matter, it's no big deal I know. maybe that's why you think it's a bit boring?

As for tracks... well, I know there are several coming out, but I do spend my precious time on it. I try to vary and that way I do some tracks at the same time. that means it can happen that some of them are ready at the same time... sadly enough probably :)

Mantis :
Thx alot buddy, glad you liked it! (Mac : see, it appealed to him, but not to you, tastes differ i guess hehe)
Lagoona likes it alot as well, i don't know if it's gonna be on their page though as well.

Thx for the feedback guys, i appreciate it, be it good or bad.
cya later ;)

Hey Wim,

Nice tune, very chill and bouncy. :) The percussion as was mentioned before was done VERY well, and I love the buildup, especially the strings! Jesus my friend, how? what did you use? samples?? a synth? hook a brotha up! Anyways, very nice strings and pads, althogh there's something about the main synth that i didnt like too too much, but over all a solid track. Coulda used a lil more melodic layers for the breakdown but thats about it.

Take care bud!

Not a bad Track Lightworks. A Definite 7 out of 10. The bassline was nice, the percussions were wicked, but the synth line was okay. Even though the synth sounded nice, it didn't do too much for me. Let me ask you a question.

Was the song made from an experience? Now, I like to know what the artist was thinking about when he made a song. 'Always in my heart', is a good title. I mean, were you in love, lost someone you were in love with, or is it just a plain name for the song? Sorry to get personal, but it really makes me think differently when I hear the artists view, even though we see things different in our own 'musical journeys'. Thanks. This is coming from a newbie producer who is learnin the ropes. - Trnzmntl

Hey, I'll respond for ya, cause I dont think Lightworks is back yet... but just so you know, Lightworks only did the remix of 'Always In My Heart' , he didn't name it. So you'd have to ask Lagoona then for this specific tune. But myself, the way I name tunes, is through either an experience, or a feeling or emotion the tune brings up inside of me, and sometimes if I can't think of anyhting, I let somebody listen to a new tune, and tell me the first thing that pops into their head... So everyone's different I guess. But a song should never be named just for the sake of naming it! ;)
