| hey is there a way of just buying a ticket for the award show without buying a badge? |

I'm pretty sure you can. I remember attending last year and seeing people paying at the door. As far as purchasing in advance, you would have to know somebody with a badge and they can purchase additional tickets at $45 each. I'm sure it's a lot more day of.
Are they worth it? I think so. It was lots of fun going to them last year since it's a bit casual and not too serious (you knew that going in though as Charo was the host haha; she's hilarious). There are live performances and Alize girls were walking around the whole time we were there with trays full of drinks for free which was REALLY nice haha. A lot of DJs/producers are there just hanging out seeing what awards they won so you get to meet loads of them, BUT it is VERY long.
We didn't sit through all of it as we went a bit late right after getting off the Sasha & Digweed yacht since it was literally across the street and had some time to kill before heading to Space that night (Viva vs Cadenza terrace & Toolroom Knights main room that night). They had already been going for a few hours and still went on for at least another hour and a half. Remember that it's not just awards for DJs, but for all sorts of categories. But I guess with free drinks and mingling it goes pretty quick. Red bull was also there giving free Red Bull & Red Bull Cola, but I was more interested in the drinks since we had already gotten a nice amount of them on the yacht so we kept the party going haha.
All in all, they're fun and a great way to see a lot of different people (we met the guys from Beatport right after they won the best online music retailer or something like that which was cool). |

Last year, they were only selling extra tickets at the door to people who already had the badge. You get to go for free with the badge. This is the only event I would use the badge for so its useless for me.
I really want to go, so anyone who is going to buy the badge who would not mind picking me up a ticket please pm me so I can get you the $$. Thanks!! |

| Yea, of course, it's like any event, come as you wish. We arrived pretty late last year after docking from the S&D yacht. |
