yup,venue change. I am sure Giant will issue something official, but for now, here is the event listing for this week. Same elements will apply such as free with RSVP to [email protected]. Capacity is much greater so lines should not be as much of an issue as CODE.

Seriously, Sutra? Sutra is by far the worst venue for Giant OC on Thursdays. Bummer they're not at Code anymore.

anyway im really happy they moved to sutra, IMO best venue in OC, if you havent been in a long time its completely remodeled. great news.
curious to see what the crowd is gonna be like, never been on a thursday night but cant be worse than code. Bro/tool central u serious? not really but more importantly is that its hottie central.

| im glad it moved outta code! code's security/line/capacity was ridiculous. sutra is def a better venue, the lighting/visuals are great, nice smoking patio. only problems would be that there's always tons of cops off harbor blvd so make sure to have a DD and the bathrooms are pretty far away from the stage. i saw gtr is going to be at avec in huntington beach, are u guys promoting that? because avec is probably the newest and one of the nicer venues in OC....unless u guys can get v2o which has a capacity of 2,000+ |

hmmm prob not, its a stage..similar to circus' stage....just not as huge as circus. |

i was at Sutra last thursday (Asian promoted hip hop night) and that was their last thursday there..they're moving to Avec in HB which means Sutra is an available venue! so i guess thats where Giant went to...
Sutra has renovated...
i hadnt been there in 2-3 years and it's pretty nice..they did away with the whole Indian theme and replaced it with lighter decor with pillars and stuff.. kinda reminded me of Pure in Vegas or the old Tentation..
staff got better too..they had drink specials 2 for 1 Remy Martin...
EDIT.. as for the stage..when i was there..the dj was spinning on the stage a few feet back... but the stage is shared with some vip booths...so if u get a bottle.. u'll probably be really close.. |
