Hoping someone can help with this - it's been doing my head in and I'm beginnning to think there's a problem with my hardware.
I'm trying to record the output from my mixer in to a wave editor such as bias peak or audacity or soundtrack pro.
The signal goes:
Mixer - input 3&4 on AF4 - output 3&4 on AF4 to monitors.
When I record, all I get is noise (close to white).
I've tried swapping to 1&2 and 3&4 and 3&4 and 1&2 for the inputs and outputs (respectively) but same deal.
It would be great to hear from any AF4 (or other Echo owners) if they have encountered anything similar when trying to record. I'm not sure if the routing is cousing a feedback loop but I can't tell as the AF console registers normal meter levels for both I and O.
And yes I'm using AF console 4.8 with latest flashware on Snow Leopard.
Any ideas greatly apprecited :conf: |

what program ARE you using?? i have no end of troubles with audacity... i don't know if it's me, my audiofire 2, or the software but i can't record into it.. most likely me... i was recording today into logic fine though...
as palm said though, it couldn't be simply peaking? i'm sure you would have tried this already tho...
i don't often record so can't be of much help, sorry rann :( |
