i was watching an interview with the officer's boss and he made a good point: the cop already asked them to settle down, stop resisting, and to keep their hands off him but they wouldn't... at that point, the cop is allowed to do whatever necessary to get them under control. He had two of those bitches being aggressive, and last time something like this happened in Seattle an angry mob turned on the cop who is now paralyzed as a result. The cop in that video is lucky that crowd forming didn't do the same.

if you lay a hand on a cop, you're asking for AT LEAST a punch in the face, regardless of your race or gender... the guy should be commended for not using a taser like many do without thinking twice.

I agree, pretty much.
The cop looked kinda poorly trained though. Cops over here (and surely over there?) are taught proper grappling techniques and quite a lot of other hand-to-hand combat stuff, but he just didn't seem to be able to get the chick down to the ground to be cuffed? I've watched a single female cop here take down a dude WAY bigger than her in a matter of seconds. I've also seen some pretty impressive combat stuff from male cops as well. That guy was piss-weak, IMO.

This is ed up. If 3 plain clothed men came charging at me, I don't care if they ing say they are Santa, the tooth fairy and the easter bunny coming to deliver goodies... I am ing running.
Anyone's natural reaction to this would be to run like hell. IF they even said they were police, it likely didn't even register as he was probably ting himself that 3 big men were coming at him.
Those police officers need to be fired and charged IMO. They should be trained professionals and know better than to attack someone like that when they are not clearly identifiable. Then to use excessive force on top of it? The guy was little... 3 men couldn't contain him? Maybe they could have tried calming him down by showing their badges and repeating they were the police instead of beating the out of him.
This pisses me off. For the most part, I think cops are far too often mistreated and bagged on when they don't deserve it. With that being said, there are a lot of s who are police officers that let the adrenaline, excitement and power get way over their heads and simply should not be allowed to be in their positions.
