Your sci-fi geek title will be revoked unless you get started on ME1 immediately :p
oh , Pete is sci-fi RPGer! Mass Effect 2 reminds me of Knights of the Old Republic but much more beautiful and with faster paced shooting gameplay...wish I had a good PC to run it instead of xbox. I never actually played the first one, but always heard good things, now I see what ive been missing out on.

Gameplay is good, but a bit dissapointing-ish. So I'm gonna skip this FF also.

I´m not holding my breath for FF13 to be an amazing game. The series has been seriously watered down since FF9. Linear gameplay, healing at save points, and now SHOPS at save points? Where´s the adventure? Or the challenging story gameplay (not that Final Fantasy has ever been particularly difficult, but after 9, it´s been a BREEZE to make it through the main plot in FF games). Even so, I´d be able to forgive all the flaws if they´d just give me a world to explore (Dragon Quest 8 comes to mind as a perfect example of what I´m expecting from the environment).
I´ll replay FF4, 6, 9, and 7 a thousand times before I ever spend my money on another Final Fantasy title.

yeah I thought about that, honestly one thing bugs me about the ps3 and I know some ppl are gonna disagree but I'm a big guy and I don't like the feel of the ps3 controller, I was the biggest fan of ps1 when it came out it had the best controller in that day but it's competition was N64 and then dreamcast and I was also a teenager. If I could use my 360 controller with the ps3 I would get it handsdown
Also, agreed 100%. PS3 is a great console, with the tiest controller of this generation. The Dual Shock is an obsolete design.

Here´s a youtube clip, in case you were too lazy to find one yourself :D
Endlesswave
I'd consider checking it out for kicks like I said.
I have to check out some Bioware stuff...from what I've played (not much) but I haven't been disappointed.
I want someone to come out with a "Rifts" based game or Rpg, that would just be awesome (but it won't happen).
