I'm registered with several Market Research companies that pays cash for your participation in panel discussions about products & services. Studies can last anywhere from 1 to 3 hours depending on the study & they pay cash. I've made anywhere between $30 to $200 on 1 study!
When you sign up, they ask you a handful of preliminary questions which allows them to categorize you in their database. Typically they ask... your age, race, marital status, occupation, if you smoke, if you drink, if you have children, & a few others along these lines. Then let's say they're conducting a study for a company who wants the opinions of women between the ages of 21 & 27, that has kids, & are unemployed. If you meet that criteria then they would call you to ask some additional questions to see if you qualify.

For those whose seen these sorts of things all over, it does come off looking like spam. For example the myspace spam that says: "make tons of money doing surveys!!" and it turns out theres some sort of bull catch.
Not saying its spam, but ... blah whatever *leaves the thread and slams the door* |

Well most people get the impression it's spam because you're probably the first person on this board to share information with friends regarding "how to make money", aside from dj'ing and producing. One could read this and automatically assume it is spam. Thanks for clarifying though. At least the mod won't ban you now. We would have hated to see that happen.
