done a ton of research and went for sandisk's Sansa Fuze over the iPod and can't tell you how glad I am to have never bought a ing gay iPod.
the sound is amazing. add Rockbox firmware and you get a monster

I had the Iriver e10 since it was brand new and freshly released. A week ago it gave up, the white finish was more of an jeansblue and grey and battered to hell.
Now i have a Cowon iaudio9 8gb and its great. now im looking for new headphones. my 2 year old phillips (that i love) are soon going to bite it. Ah well. |

| I used to have a Sansa clip and loved it...but then it crapped out and my friend gave me her Zen. It's a good player, but I miss the clip. Was so awesome for the gym. :/ |

It fits in my pockets and it plays music.

ipod touch 16gb
rarely use it these days, i'd use it more if they came with an actual charger like the old ipods, i'm too lazy to keep plugging and unplugging usb cables |

Jackson, haven't you learnt anything this decade? A device that plays music is called an iPod, not an mp3 player.
And mp3 files that you can download from the internet aren't just mp3 files that you can download from the internet, they're called podcasts. |

| i have rockbox loaded on my ipod, and it has superior sound quality to most mp3 players -- especially those knock offs. you get what you pay for most of the time. |
