If, by my "spare time", you mean whenever Avonlea comes over, then yes - I do listen to Britney Spears. Avo is quite the Britney-o-phile and forces me to listen to her all the time. I can handle small doses of Britney's songs, but I'd take Christina Aguilera over her if I had to choose. ;)

Of course, up to about 1990 though

I dunno what happened to them after that :p

Billy Ocean came to my house when I was a kid (yes, I know it's like "MJ came to my house to use my bathroom" etc. but I'm honestly not joking).

Muse are great, so are the doves and Jose Gonzales, but I don't really feel much rock at all. So much of it just sounds the same ;)

I hate a lot of 80's music, it was probably growing up with it that did it to me and I was exposed to the London indoe and Electronic scene as a teenager in the mid 90's so 80's was just before my time and therefore "dated" to me.

I listen to a lot of classical, from Chopin to Ravel and is probably one of the few forms of music I can listen to at any time from the gym to chilling at home.

Here you go! Some Chopin and Ravel by yours truly! Recorded a few years ago.

Neither Chopin or Ravel are classical musicians. Chopin was purely a romantic and Ravel was a composer of impressionist music, a music whose stylistic origins are in the romantic era.

I like and listen to everything. I love Spanish Rock, 80's, and early 90's hip hop.

One of my dreams is to one day work with Mexican rock giant, Mana. I'd love to remix some of their work. They were the first artist to sell out the Staples Center several days in a row.

I been listening to some classic rock lately too, and I noticed Deep Dish was heavily influenced by it. I'd love to remix Clearwater Revivial's Proud Mary. But for some reason, every time I hear this song, it reminds me of Deep Dish. lol

True, but I wasn't expecting many people to know the difference (and in fact there is a fair bit of overlap between classical and romantic but that's a whole other thread...) :toothless

Cheers Ritchie, will check them out when I get home....

Nice - very expressive playing! Is that a live piano (i.e., not a sampled one)?
