| THE RED PARTY: FERRY CORSTEN |

Tens of thousands of people sing at the top of their lungs to his classic productions and latest hits. They clamor to get as close to the stage as possible at concerts to get a better view of the man pulling the strings behind the decks. From Malaysia to Melbourne, Lebanon to Los Angeles, the scene is eerily similar; with dance music fans the world over experiencing the latest show of a living legend. Few DJs can inspire this level of pomp and furor. Since his immersion on the scene in the late 1990s, Ferry Corsten has amassed best-selling albums, nearly a dozen gold singles, and countless other awards. Still, as longtime fans already know, Corsten has never been one to rest on his laurels. While the producer is best known for his trance classics, Corsten has also been known to push boundaries creatively and has always been keen to switch up his musical style when the mood hits him. 2010 is set to be one of Ferry Corsten's busiest years yet. In addition to an upcoming album celebrating the 10th anniversary of the ultimate trance anthem "System F: Out of the Blue," Corsten is busy preparing his latest compilation album with exclusive material.

I thought that RJ Pickens (I think that's his name), owned it when he got up there and Ferry lived up to my expectations.
I did not enjoy a lot of the people there. I've been to Vision before but last night many people were so unbelievably rude. It's like they totally forgot how to be decent to other human beings. I don't mind it done to me but my gf had beer thrown on her, guys kept bumping into her even after I shoved them off like 3 times, etc. I decided not to keep fighting everybody and eventually had to go up top to get out of that mess. I almost wish like 500 less tickets or so were sold so it wouldn't be like a can of sardines. Maybe I just had a bad night with that though. |

Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. I didn't make it to the show, but was considering bringing my gf for her first time at a club. Maybe it's best that I didn't - I don't think I would have been able to handle that. |
