In modern dance music, you can't really get away with starting off a track out with just the kick. That kick sucks, too.
The reverb on your bass synth is absolutely terrible. It might actually sound decent if you turned it off. If you want a reverb sound in your track, create a higher octave synth and put reverb on it.
What are you making this on? Headphones?
It's possible to hear that the synths may sound decent if it weren't for the awful reverbs put on them. Try working on the song without any wet effects like reverb.
At 3:30 that synth is agonizing to listen to. That's why I want to know what you are using to make this because it really does sound awful. Like I said try working on the song with no reverb or FX and try again. |
