Corsten should be in charge of the U.S. Postal Service, because that motherfukker always DELIVERS!!!!!!!
He played for 3 hours and 15 minutes. The first 2 hours was nothing short of amazing IMO, a total mindin as only Corsten brings. Started with a few upbeat danceable progressive & melodic tracks to build up the room, into high energy & funkier trance, dropping deep basslines & massive breakdowns galore, and by the 4th track had that room blowing up big time. Best of all he went hard & techy early & often. Those 2 hours progressed perfectly & were a perfect blend of all things trance by the master himself. The 3rd hour started with more uplifting & vocal trance which was a bit odd at 1st, but apparently was done to work his way into the barrage of B2B awesome classics he dropped during the final 40 minutes of his set. A few of them included: Sweet Sorrow (Thrillseekers remix), Out of the Blue (unknown remix into Ottaviani remix), Synaesthesia (Corsten remix) & Exxxxxxxhaaaaaallleee :eyes: :eyespop:
Great way to end WMC ...... |

Not much different except for a few times where they turned up a load of flashing lights behind him. Once was during the breakdown of "Beautiful," that was really nice. Not sure why they did not set up lasers or use those lights more often. In the end Karu threw 2 good trance parties, but their lighting and sound are not set up to optimal levels (sound levels are way off IMO). They should invest in people that know how to control the lights and sound. If you went to Anjuna Thursday & then Space Friday you had to notice the difference & know what I mean. I give Space credit for the top notch clear sound & lighting in the mainroom |

Ferry's equiment for his once upon a night 'dot dot dot' tour, was simply amazing!! the screen behind him was enormous. Anjuna needs to take note! The lighting inside isn't so good but the huge screen def helped. Will write a review later since i am at the airport now.
By the way, does anyone have video of this song he played which had a guitar and a really long breakdown ? Would like to know the ID. |
