i have windows 7 and i use malewarebytes and it works perfectly ;)
on my last laptop, which was fairly old, i had like 30 trojans and my computer got screwy and malewarebytes actually saved it from the brink of death :o |

| I just got a new laptop, and put AVG on it. That's all I have going now. Heard Windows Defender was decent, but I'd be up for some opinions on other options, preferably free. |
