How was the show? Did Tritonal do their jumping act, or did they warm up proper for Ferry?

Yep. They were jumping around. I get that they are passionate about the music they produce, but for reasons below...it was painful to watch

Their songs have alot of potential, and really could be something awesome. But...the sound quality of their productions falls short to where I can hear the music, and want to jam out to it...but I can't feel it. The bass is weak, and their is no life to their songs. Its like watching a good movie on a black and white television set or listening to a good set over AM radio.

They need an audio engineer that can make their songs sound like they should. Then they will have more people dancing.

Right on. Too many producers these days use the same boring rolling bassline which you cant even hear, relying on the 4/4 kick for all of the low end frequency. Bring back the interesting semi funky baselines that make me want to dance!

How proper bass in trance sounds:

Matthias
I like how Cosmic Gate slowed alot of their newer tracks down to 130 and create basslines that can be felt rather than just heard. I switched from spinning trance to progressive house in early 2004 for this very reason.

Every genre has its quality and crap, but as far as trance goes I find myself only liking about 4% of the tracks out there.
Jink
so anybody with any info on how the party went? i was here in houston at the time, and won't be leaving until tomorrow. i wanted to hit up the party but heard bad news about outrageous parking fees and such.
