so i was working on this song for a few weeks now, and one day i was working on it, and my computer decided to crash, no big deal it happens often. anyways now when i go back and try to open the file that i was working on it says. an error occured while reading this flp file it may be corrupted or some plugin caused an error while opening.
im pissed because i was putting alot of effort into the song, and now i feel like i lost everything, and another thing everything i own is legit, so that cant be the problem..
is just anyway that i can possibly get it to work? |

Try disabling all plugins and see if it works then, then enable/disable plugins until you find the one causing the crash. That is, if there is a plugin causing the crash.
And always save to a new file when done working on a track, it can really be helpful in situastions like this. |

grr i tried this diagnosing tool that was suppose to turn off the corrupt plugins in the file so that i could open it, but that didnt work
does anyone know how i can turn off all plugins of a file in fl studio before i open it? i also tried the smart disable thing which didnt seem to do anything.

| This is why you have to save multiple project files of a single project to avod data corruption. As far as I remember FL has a handy feature for it called "Save new version". |

you could try to start backing up your work!!!!!!! deserved imo:whip:
1. save to new file every important change
2. copy whole project folder to a external disk from time to time (including samples etc). |

no way man, i'm sorry, the only things you can do is to backup the file
i used to rename each file every 20 minute of work it is more secure :) |
