Mukti began the journey as a psytrance and ambient dj/producer early in the new millennium as 1/2 of the improvisational ambient/noise duo Holomovement. Through the wonders of experimenting with toy music machines, tape loops, circuit bending, effect processing, and the use of live sampling with turntables and cdjs, the path naturally led to becoming a dj. Mukti's original compositions range from beat-less ambient to twisted forest trance, and often attempt a merge somewhere in between while maintaining a slightly lo-fi sensibility.
