LIBERATE – Friday April 16 2010
Onside Entertainment enters one of the best clubbing spaces in Melbourne, already boasting state of the art sound and lighting, we now add our flair with décor, performers, first class laser show and entertainment that has become a standard fixture at our events. We welcome three of the very best artists in their field, alongside some of the city’s favourite and upfront DJs and producers, across two rooms.
Matt Hardwick (UK)
For those into trance music Matt Hardwick will be familiar name; having continually wowed club crowds around the world with his DJ sets, given party goers in every corner of the globe ever lasting memories with his music. His debut solo release ‘Supernal’ on his own imprint ‘Kill the Lights’ has received critical acclaim and support from the biggest names in the business.
Solarstone (UK)
Solarstone behind a pair of CDJs is something that every electric dance music lover, planet-wide, should witness at least once in their clubbing careers! His 2009 project ‘Electronic Architecture’, won plaudits and acclaim around the world for its imaginative premise and has just been nominated for an International Dance Music Award!
Signum (NL)
They’ve been moving the crowds and shocking the turntables for several years and are considered one of the long-lasting groups of producers trance has to offer. The tracks ‘Riddles in the Sand’ and ‘Addicted’ featured on Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance 2009 and one track on Armin's Essential Mix of May. Look out for their debut album!

solarstone were good at defcon last year, last time signum were out only got an hr set... so this could be a goer...
Please give them more than an hour, every party too many locals are placed on the lineup. |

Signum always rock.
Matt Hardwick I've only seen once, and was booked on an odd night and the change in styles ruined the flow of the night (Anthony Pappa, Roland Klinkenberg, Markus Schulz (who played an awesome chunky and glitchy set and fit perfectly), Matt Hardwick - played the first vocals of the night). It was 5:30am and I was ed anyway so it gave me an easy excuse to call it a night. Definitely interested in seeing him again though.
Hopefully its at a good club here and some punters turn out for once. Solarstone last year had less than 30 people. |
