Perhaps an odd question.. can you save bugs?

I'm working on one last bassline tutorial using Nexus for the bass, I figured at least whoever has Nexus and FL can use it on a project level.
I have 3 basses, working on the groove for hours, not really getting anywhere far but I was playing with it for hours.
I go to clean it up, slap on peak controller for a very slight duck, and boom my project is ed.

For some reason, right after I linked the controller, the mixer knob started vibrating uncontrollably, when I pressed stop, it kept vibrating (not like a regular sine wave duck) up and down sharply, but randomly too. So now I have an automatic crazy lfo on the channel. Play the bass, bye bye groove.

I'm pissed at this point. Restart the computer, open FL, open the project, not expecting it to be acting that way, and its still there lol. I know I have the option to move everything to another channel.

I delete peak controller at this point cause if I click to remove the link peak controller opens and closes real quick. It won't open.
Delete it, open a new peak controller, move everything to a new track, link it, bye bye bass it goes out of control again.

WHAT THE ! So I'm basically ed now? I'm tempted to open another FL, then copy everything by clicking back and forth and copying parameters, but if I link peak controller again and this happens, I'm killing the makers of FL studio! I don't have a single cracked anything on my PC. I know I need to ditch this program, but aside from that, are there any other ways to remove a bug? ie. Using logic. If I'm opening a controller in FL, and thats causing the bug what would cause the bug to happen in one project but not the next? Is a bug code that is triggered to go out of control, or does it happen randomly? What are my chances of triggering the bug, if I copy all the parameter over to another project?

What confuses me is I always do this on Nexus and other instruments and it seems to happen whenever the it wants. But once it happens, the track is essentially ed. Theres no undoing your way out of a bug I suppose? I'm gonna try to copy everything to a new project now these n pos FL manufacturers.. I got about $1800 I've saved over the last 2 months to update my studio, and I think I'm officially done with FL. I can't work like a ing 3 year old anymore..

Are you using the new version of FL? If so you could side chain natively in FL's mixer..

why the hell is everything such a drama with you? me
DJ Robby Rox
Its not drama, thats just the way I talk.
If my language is overly dramatic I'll be sure to make myself boring as possible next time I post..

But everythings fine I copied everything to a new track. I don't wanna sidechain btw I use the peak controller differently because I usually do a frequency drop vs volume drop if the grooves strongest point is close to a kick. Even modest chaining would have killed the groove which is why I use the peak controller still in FL 9. I can clear up more room with less reduction where I need sound.

dude, u absolutely sure you dont have any linking conflicts or mis-set knobs?

I don't get how you have so many problems with FL Studio, as I have never experienced any of them.

That being said, I have no idea how to fix yours.

Yeh I checked through the project and couldn't find anything.
When I opened up a brand new project it did the same exact thing. I only noticed this with Nexus though, any other synth it seems to be fine, the second I open next for some reason I can't use peak controller anymore.
I have no viruses, no cracked anything, computer was just formatted, but for some reason when I open Nexus I can't use peak controller for anything. I at least narrowed it down to that so now I'll know in the future to work around peak controller if I have Nexus open.

Yeh its an ongoing thing to be honest. I have managed to not let it destroy my work flow because I save out of paranoia now anytime I change anything. But sometimes I'll get zoned into a loop cause I like it a lot, and thats usually when I get caught off guard.

Since I posted this thread FL had a seizure last night and shut down, then today again the entire computer locked up and I had to restart it. I'm doing a lot of revamping to my studio in the next few days, got a lot of cash together so I'm getting an audio interface and some other stuff. I'm hoping that might add some stability but I still doubt it'll do anything. I never in my life had Reason crash once, and I never had Ableton crash either (although I use Ableton seldomly), FL for some reason crashes at least once a day it seems. No matter what version either, its seemed rather consistent with crashing since I first got FL 6.. so idk. I'll be done complaining real soon though once I get some shopping done this week.

That makes absolutely no sense how *I* could be creating bugs. Bugs are obviously problems with the software not me.
Please be less clueless in future responses, thank you.

I don't know man, I've never had a problem like you mentioned and I've been using FL for years.. surely I would have seen this "bug"?

I don't think bugs are universal. They would have to depend on the specs of your computer.

what kind of pc do you have?
